Quality and simplicity guide us in creating our Dessert Sauces.
Four simple ingredients, cocoa, sugar, vanilla, and salt combine to make delicious Cocoa Sauce.
Berry Sauce has Saskatoon Berries, Strawberries, and Raspberries and sugar. The berries do most of the thickening.
Toffee Sauce boasts three ingredients: butter, sugar and a bit of molasses.
Cider Sauce has apple and lemon juices, brown sugar and fall spices.

Each Sauce has a different consistency at room temperature and under refrigeration (between 2 and 4 degrees Celsius).
We use quality ingredients, only a few ingredients per Sauce, and rely on sugar (all Sauces) and pectin (Berry Sauce, Cider Sauce) for thickening.
All of our Sauces should be refrigerated after opening, and we create our Sauces to be pourable right out of the fridge.

Yes, sugar is a key ingredient to achieve the syrup WITHOUT using added thickeners like Xanthan gum. The Nutrition Facts Table is based on a suggested 60mL serving size - or 1/4 of the bottle!
For example, 60mL or 1/4 cup of Cocoa Sauce would be quite a large serving over dessert or in a beverage. A 30mL serving size is still quite generous but more realistic.
A quarter of a 250 ml bottle of Cocoa Sauce has nutritional values similar to a popular candy bar with chocolate bubbles.

We do not use actual tree nuts in our products and we have a nut free facility, however we cannot guarantee that the ingredients we source (such as cocoa) do not contain nuts or traces of tree nuts.
The ingredients listed on the bottles are the only ingredients in the bottles.

Product Use and Storage

Cocoa Sauce has a nine month shelf life it is unopened. Check the bottom of your jar to see the best before date, in the format of Month-Year.
You can store an unopened bottle at room temperature for up to nine months.
Opened, Cocoa Sauce should be stored in the refrigerator.
Berry Sauce, Toffee Sauce, and Cider Sauce are new sauces for 2024. Each has a different shelf life and you can check the back label of the bottles for the Best By date.
Opened, all of our Dessert Sauces should be stored in the refrigerator.

Please enjoy our Dessert Sauces for garnishing desserts, sundaes, hot and cold beverages.
CAUTION: Heating the sauce will change its consistency and may burn the sauce, changing its flavour profile. Heating may also change the texture from a thick liquid to a solid and may cause the jar to break. It is recommended to transfer the sauce to a heat safe container if heating.
CAUTION: Remove the metal lid before placing in a microwave. It is recommended to transfer the desired amount of sauce to a heat safe container before attempting to heat. Heat at maximum 10 second intervals no more than 20 seconds total. Protect your hands with oven mitts as the sauce and jar may become quite hot.

After opening, refrigerate any flavour of our sauces.
Use a clean spoon or utensil to ensure that other food items are not transferred to the Sauce.

We’ve chosen labels that are easily removed from the glass bottle.
Glass can be recycled or reused after washing. We do not accept returns - we use new bottles for every jar of Sauce. Check with your municipality for their recycling programs.
Our customers have used empty bottles for spice storage, button and bead bottles (crafting) and to make their own dressings for salads.
